The advanced reading copies arrived. It's a book!
The galley copies, or ARC's as they are referred to, arrived this afternoon. It is a book! What an auspicious feeling to think that someone in the publishing world might actually be reading the book tonight as I write this blog. It is my hope that these advanced reading copies generate some interest in the media world. When will the actual inventory be printed? Good question. At least I think the release date of March 2010 is a done deal. There should be a minimum of four months lead time between galleys and the actual publication according to Langdon Street Press. Six months is even better. Let's go with March. As soon as I receive, read, and correct the final electronic file, everything should be good to go!

Gary,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the pre-copy of the book. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Mixing the rail-road genre with a fictionalized account of a true story is very compelling. I hope others enjoy the story as much as I did.
