Over the weekend I combed through the book making sure everything is correct. I think it is as close to perfect as I can get it. We tried. I found one punctuation error and a few words still incorrectly split. Readers won't notice. On the "about author" page at the very end, I didn't know my old place of employment had changed their name to conform to the new buzz-word for medical center. It's "healthcare." Not important enough to hold up production. It can be fixed later.
Also, I'm working with an illustrator who will draw some of the book characters. When she is done, I'll put them on the Facebook page with their character sketches. She is a great artist so I'm hoping we will come up with something great. It takes a great creative mind to figure out what these characters look like.
In 10 to 15 days books should be in my order fulfillment department and available for ordering direct from my website which should come on-line shortly. Not sure just when you could order from Amazon or the bookstores because fulfillment has to work with Itasca, my distributor, who will deliver to Ingram, Baker & Taylor, etc. Each is their own little entity.
Projects yet to complete are as follows:
1. A written marketing plan which the distributor requires.
2. The title can now appear on the "Book Sense" list sent to the membership Independent bookstores ["Indie" stores], who if they are so interested, may place an order or ask for a free copy.
