Missouri Headwaters State Park is a. pretty tourist stop along I-90 at Three Forks, MT. History abounds dating back to the travels of Lewis & Clark. Three rivers (Madison, Jefferson & Gallatin) meet forming the Missouri. Pictured is the Gallatin and the rock that Lewis climbed to map the territory as it was the highest landform in the area. The track passes just beneath. This is on the route of the Mountain Daylight or hopefully Amtrak's North Coast Hiawatha if President Obama has his way with Congress. I visited with the state's rail representative in Helena. The state of Montana is working hard to make this happen. Go to www.facebook.com/bridgeoverthevalley for more pictures of this beautiful area.
