Final Layout - Interior Files - Approved!

Today I approved the interior layout file. The publisher suggests a retail price of $15.99. That would be in the ball park for the market. More than that (don't I wish!) would generate too much price resistence. A book this length at 410 pages would cost double to print from a print-on-demand publisher. My print costs will be around $4.00, Amazon and retailers would receive a 55% discount off retail and the distributor will take 10%. That doesn't leave the author with much. Let's hope I sell a lot of books. Once the galleys go out, we'll have a better grasp on the release date.
