When Pigs fall in love..
Brandon Cesmat, a Cal State San Marcos literature professor has a new book titled "When Pigs Fall in Love and Other Stories" He is a great teacher and helped me construct "Bridge Over the Valley." He was immensely helpful to all of us in the class guiding us through the creative writing process. His speciality is poetry but is a great short story writer too. He had a great fondness for Louise Erdrich, North Dakota's premier novelist. We studied a litany of her novels in class. I liked her narrative technique and used it when writing "Bridge Over the Valley." It helped me better distill the characters emotions to the page. Kudos Brandon! http://bit.ly/9Fmf5r
