Bismarck is a delightful city with a beautiful high rise capitol. A railroad runs right through the middle of it and Fiesta Villa is a great Mexican resturant in the old NP Train station. The patio is a great place to eat and a thick green arbor protects you from the BNSF trains that roar by while you are eating and listening to some great Vintage Rock music by the Dedbeats: Casey James on vocals/guitar/harp is a multifaceted musician as is his other performers Shawn Sargent on the lead guitar; JJ VanInwagen on bass guitar and harmony. Eloi Cryil was the drummer. What a drummer he was! Eariler in the day, there was a book signing event at the modern Barnes & Noble store across from the big Kirkwood Mall. Kirkwood Mall is where they found Aunt Mattie after she disappeared off the train in the novel Bridge Over the Valley. Oops I just gave that story away. Sorry.
