Bozeman is Montana's 3rd largest city

After I visited Vargo's Bookstore on Main Street it was time for lunch at the Garage an old building made into a popular restaurant where the condiments are served in a six-pack carton and the menu is on the back of an old license plate. My choice was the day's special-Mexican elk patty on cheese and hot sauce. Woo! They came with the best fries. I sat inside at a high rise table because the patio was full witha  long waiting! Expect to wait about 30 min for your order once you sit down.

This was a day to relax and do some research on my next story. The morning was busy with phoning contacts and working with my distributor to resolve some issues with one of the chain stores on getting more inventory. The morning was shot but the afternoon was  spent watching microfiche film pass by at rapid speed from the Bozeman  Chronicle-editions published 45 years ago. I'm trying to solve a crime. I collected 17 pgs of information from the paper and now it is time for investigation to begin.

Tomorrow the car is pointed south and homeward. First a stop at a ranch near Gardiner for the night with old friends and a visit to my old high school. I'm leaving a copy with their English Dept.

While at the library, the weather turned from warm to cool with rain, hail and wind. It will rain tonight and be warm and clear tomorrow-I hope. About an hour later after this picture was taken in the patio of the Garage, it was hail and rain. This is Montana. As they say: "Only a fool or a new-comer will predict the weather around here!"
