It was a thrill to see an old friend of mine walk into Main Street Books in downtown Minot. Lois now in Southern California hails from Minot and her dad was an engaging old railroader with many stories about his years working on the Great Northern Railroad in Minot. Bridge Over the Valley is taking root in Minot and I thank Main Street Books and Barnes & Noble for stocking and promoting the story. I had a successful visit.
